The Bognor Arts & Culture Experience
Join us in creating an ever more vibrant, diverse and enriched community...
..from the grassroots and green shoots to a vibrant level playing field that everyone can enjoy.
We never cease to be amazed by the wealth of creative talent we’re blessed with around the town.
Many fine artists, musicians, actors, poets, writers, photographers, entertainers and TV/film producers have made Bognor their home and they all contribute to a vibrant art and culture scene.
In April many of these creative minds came together for an Open Forum at the Regis School of Music to discuss how we could work together to make a difference.
We agreed to develop an arts and cultural enterprise to take our ideas forward and a small Steering Group was formed to draw up a plan to turn the town into a full on arts & culture zone.
The aim is to create a community hub where all our creative minds could come together to get properly organised...
...and where we could invite our local government and commercial friends to join us in putting together a real and meaningful, community owned creative vision and plan to revitalise our town over the coming years.
All the pointers suggest that now is a great time to invest in Bognor as the regeneration of the seafront, St Maur and the arcade takes shape and the many creative minds and true Bognorians are determined to play a significant part in how the town and it’s culture develops into a new era.
We hope you will support the new arts and culture enterprise and join us at the next Open Forum in the summer.
Thank you for your interest and continued support.
With kind regards from
Steve Goodheart & Rachel Searle (Co-Conveners of the Open Forum).
